Donald L. Richard of Medford passed away on January 27, 2025. He was 88 years old. Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Joanna Helen Leahy and John J. Richard Sr..

Prior to his retirement, Donald, along with his brother John, worked in the family business of Kenney & Co., of Lawrence, MA, a wholesale meat distribution company. He worked as the Office Manager for over 40 years.

Donald was the dear brother of the late John J. Richard Jr. and his wife Frances. He was the loving uncle of John J. Richard III and his wife Kathy Nyilas Richard of East Hampstead, NH and Dennis Richard and his wife Linda Deida Richard of Lake Mary, FL., great-uncle of Alyssa Richard Huron and her husband Paul, Nick Richard,Nicolle Richard Matson and her husband Bobby, Joey Richard and his wife Carly and the great-great uncle of Cassidy, Ryker and Blake Huron, Talia and Kara Richard, Colby Richard, Mila and Henrick Matson. Donald also leaves behind his lifelong friend and caretaker, Frank Sheehan of Medford.

Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA, on Friday, February 7, from 9-11AM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 11AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
