Gaiter, Mercedes, longtime resident of Weston, born in Cali, Colombia passed away on January 20, 2025. As a practicing medical pathologist and professor in her field, Mercedes was a mentor to many young doctors and a leader in her discipline. She was a devoted family woman who was known for her kindness and generosity.
Beloved wife of Donald Gaiter. Devoted mother of Andrea Gaiter and her husband Scott Wicker, of Sudbury, and Donald Gaiter and his wife Gloria Gutierrez, of Boston.
Dear sister of Gloria and predeceased by siblings Hernan, Jaime, Renee, Gladys and Tulio, all of Cali, Colombia.
