GRUBER, Maxwell J. Of Wellesley, passed away unexpectedly on January 14, 2025. Beloved son of John J. and Jeanette M. (Sapio) Gruber. Loving brother of John Gruber and his wife Tatiana of Nashville, TN., Richard Gruber of NY., NY and Julia Gruber of Los Angeles, CA. Cherished grandson of Caroline Sapio of Naples, FL., and the late Frank Sapio, and Richard and Dorothy Gruber.

Max was born in Princeton, NJ and grew up in Wellesley, MA. He graduated from Wellesley High School in 2011, and St. Joseph University in 2015. He worked as a portfolio analyst at Nixon Peabody, Boston. He enjoyed spending his summers at the NJ Shore with his grandparents and cousins.

Max was a kind, gentle soul to all who knew him. His journey on this earth, while cut short, was full of love and compassion. His passing has left a void in the hearts of many family, friends and co-workers, who he loved spending time with. Max loved the city of Boston and was a passionate Boston sports fan. He loved watching games with his friends. He found much joy walking his beloved dog, Jaxon, around the city.
