Mary Bridget Mullen, August 10, 1943-January 12, 2024. Mary Mullen was born in Galway, Ireland. She emigrated to the US when she was 17 years old and spent her adult life in Brighton. She lived with her aunt and had many friends and acquaintances in the neighborhood from her many years working at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, and shopping at her favorite stores including Johnny D’s. She spent her last years happily living at Covenant House on Washington Street. She leaves her sisters, Eileen (Missy) Gay (James) of Monroe, NC and Anne Coen of Galway, Ireland and their sons. She also leaves members of the Ridge and Piso families, close family friends, in the Boston area. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Columbkille's Church, 321 Market St., Brighton on Friday, January 24 at 10:30 am. Interment will take place at Saint Joseph Cemetery following the Mass. | ||||
