Giuseppe Milazzo, age 92, of Somerville passed away on Sunday, January 12th, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Agrigento Canicatti, Sicily, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Domenica (Vento) Milazzo. Giuseppe immigrated to the US in 1967. He was a Somerville resident for 57 years and was employed as a tailor. Giuseppe loved working in his garden, watching the Bruins, and sitting with friends on his porch. He also liked to sing, help people, and make his homemade wine.

Giuseppe was the beloved husband of Maria Angela (Cassaro) Milazzo, and the devoted father of Domenica Milazzo, and Mary Grace Bertazzoni and her husband Robert. He was the loving grandfather of Marissa and her fiancé Joseph Marmion, Sabrina, Nicholas and Danielle, and dear brother of Angela Cutatia and her late husband Gaetano, the late Angelo Milazzo and his wife Licia, the late Diego Milazzo and his late wife Lena, the late Salvatore Milazzo and his wife Alba, the late Vincenzo Milazzo, and the late Venerinina Venturella and her husband Vincenzo. Giuseppe was the brother-in-law of the late Graziella Cassaro and her late husband Louie, the late Salvatore Cassaro and his wife Jane, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, January 21st from 9 AM through 11 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
