Kenneth Francis Gajefski Jr., (Ski) passed away peacefully at home December 22, 2024, at the age of 88. Ski was born in Denver, Colorado, August 19, 1936, to Kenneth Sr. and Fay Gajefski. He was followed by brothers Richard and Charlie and sister Diane. Ski joined the Marines on a bet at the age of 17. His parents had to sign for him to join. Anyone who knew Ski knew how proud he was to be a Marine. He had a decal on his Jeep that says "Not as mean, not as lean, but still a Marine." He was also very proud to be a Union Electrician with IBEW Local 952. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, playing horseshoes, his weekly poker games and his afternoon cocktails at the Moose Lodge.
He was a member of the Ventura Moose Lodge, Ventura Elks and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.
He is survived by his wife and partner of 48 years Connie, son's Luke and Justin (Paula) and daughters Lyn and Michelle, sister Diane (Greg) and sister-in-law's Jill Peterson, Nancy Gajefski and Leila Gajefski He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 12th from 1-4pm at the IBEW#952 Hall, 3994 E. Main Street, Ventura.
