Carol A. Chisholm, beloved mother, 88yrs old, of Lakeville Ma. passed away suddenly on Sunday 11/17/24.
She was the wife of the late James D. Chisholm.
Carole was born in Norwood Ma. to Arthur Hiltz and Hazel Leland-Hiltz and was raised on Revere St. in Canton Ma. She was the youngest of 8 siblings; Barbara Baker (John), Francis McPhail (George), Eva Burrell (Frank), Ruth Anderson (John), Leland Hiltz (Helen), Ralph Hiltz (Wilma), and George Hiltz. Carol worked as a switchboard operator for many years at the N.E. Sini Hospital in Stoughton, Ma.
Carol was a loving mother and is survived by 4 children; James Chisholm (Arlene) of Stoughton, Cheryl Kelly of Frederica Delaware, John Chisholm (Diane) of Stoughton, William Chisholm (Shelley Rowan)of Stoughton as well as her grandchildren, Colin Chisholm, Jacob Chisholm, Christine Kelly, Heather Kelly, Benjamin Chisholm, Alexander Chisholm, Kaila Chisholm, Logan Chisholm-Brattin, and greatgrandchild, Kyria Chisholm-Fleurival.
Carol was predeceased in death by son Arthur Chisholm.
Carol found enjoyment in her passion for art, specifically Monoprinting. She was a member of the Fuller Art Museum in Brockton Ma. where she took many classes and completed hundreds of paintings. She also played the piano and enjoyed cooking. Carole was known for her eccentric and unconventional humor, she made many laugh.
Although our mother is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.

Graveside services to be held on Nov. 25, 2024 at 11:15am in Bourne at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
