CARRARA Rosalin M. (Grassa) of the German Centre, West Roxbury, formerly of Dedham, Roslindale and Roxbury, passed away on November 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Donald J. Carrara for 57 years. Devoted mother of Vincent Carrara and his wife Catherine of Norwood and Christine DeFeo and her husband John of Kansas City, MO. Loving Mammy of Vincent, and Lorenzo Carrara, and Christopher, John Charles, and Nicco DeFeo. Dear sister of Mary White, Constance Nowell, John Grassa, Joanne Carlevale, and the late Peter and Anthony Grassa.
Rosalin was a caring, loving and selfless person always putting others above herself. She enjoyed spending time with people of all ages and helping in ways they needed - she had a way of knowing just what to do or say. All of these connections with others were very important to her and she fostered this special way of giving to both her children and grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Monday, Nov., 25th from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov., 26th at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa of Avila Church, West Roxbury at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
