Jean Marie Parady, 64, of Chester, NH, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. She was born on June 4, 1960, in Everett, MA, the daughter of Thomas and Lorraine (LeBlanc) Lavorati, and had been a resident of Chester for the past 25 years, formerly living in Derry
She loved to crochet and was always very artistic. One way she would show her love was hand-making a beautiful card or gift. But her biggest joy in life was traveling with her husband Charlie or the whole family and friends. She made several trips to Bermuda, saw Hawaii, Alaska, Scotland, France, England, Wales, and traveled all over the Caribbean and Bahamas. This past May she and Charlie reached one of her travel goals and got to see Rome, Italy on their trip to Europe, which is something she had always wanted.
She was a thoughtful friend, a loving mother, a wonderful spouse, and had the most dry sense of humor. She was a light to everyone around her.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Charlie Parady; son, Henry Parady; daughter, Laura Parady; brother, Thomas Lavorati III, her parents Tom and Lorraine Lavorati, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Sophie and Gerald Parady, and her beloved dogs Josie and Rudy.
Following cremation, the calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 13th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm with a service to start at 7:30pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of their choice.
