It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Elizabeth Bremer, who left us on September 4, 2024 at the age of 78. She passed away surrounded by her family at Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility after a brief illness. Elizabeth was born on October 28, 1945 to parents, John and Mary Silveria, of West Bridgewater, MA. Elizabeth was a long time employee of Howard Johnson’s in Brockton, MA. She devoted much of her life to raising her seven children and taking care of her home. Before becoming a resident of Bourne Manor, she resided at Southfield Apartments in Plymouth, MA where she enjoyed the friendship of many wonderful people.
She is survived and will be sadly missed by her siblings, John Silveria, Shirley Cimorelli, William Silveria, and Mary Rose Howard; Her children, Alan Roberts and his wife Linda of Rincon, GA; Robin Rowley of Rincon, GA; David Roberts and his wife Colleen of Wareham, MA; Steven Roberts of New Bedford, MA; James Roberts and his wife, Michelle Bell of Carver, MA; Tom Roberts and his wife, Wendy of Carver, MA; Joe Roberts and his wife Megan of Wareham, MA . She also leaves behind a legacy of twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Silveria; brothers, Richard and Joseph Silveria; and her grandson, Austin Roberts.
In Elizabeth’s younger years, she was a jack-of-all-trades. She could do anything from fixing cars to repairing the plumbing. In her later years, Elizabeth found joy in simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her dog, Susie, who brought great joy to her life. She enjoyed engaging in crafts, chatting with friends and family online and tending to her plants.
A cremation followed by a private family graveside burial will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater, MA, honoring Elizabeth’s wishes for a peaceful rest with her departed parents.
