Mr. Andrew J. Dubiel (Andy), age 70, of Salem, passed away unexpectedly on August 20th, 2024. Andy was born in Salem where he lived most of his life. Andy was predeceased by his parents, Frederick Dubiel and Margaret (Spidell) Dubiel..
Andy graduated from Salem High School and spent most of his working career at Salem Harbor Station. Andy enjoyed fishing, collecting coins, and thunderstorms. He also loved sports, especially hockey and the Boston Bruins. He was part of a bowling league for many years, collecting a few trophies for his and his teammates’ skills. Some of his favorite television programs included Star Trek, the History Channel, and sports. Above all, he enjoyed making memories and spending time with his children and grandchildren. If his children and grandchildren were happy, he was happy.
Andy is survived by his children, Jennifer A. (Dubiel) Roussin and her partner George Bogart of NY, Andrew J. Dubiel Jr.and his wife Dena (Zide) Dubiel of Salem, Michael F. Dubiel of Lynn, and Kristen E. Dubiel of Westford, and his beloved grandchildren, Jacklyn Roussin and her partner Cody Archambault, Lucas (Brooke) Bogart, Violet Dubiel, and Stella Dubiel. He is also survived by his brother, Peter Dubiel, and nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Andy was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas Dubiel and Frederick Dubiel.
