In 1970 George married Patricia Ann Duffy. He was raising Gail and Bill as a single father when he met Pat. Daughters Laura and Lenore soon followed, completing their family. George and Pat shared many (53) happy years togetherraising. They enjoyed road trips throughout New England, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, DC, and reaching up to Canada to visit extended family. Pat and George enjoyed solo trips to St. Thomas for their honeymoon and Martha’s Vineyard for an anniversary getaway. Along with travelling, they were members of the R

George was proud to be an involved member of the Salem community as well as an avid gardener. He delighted in sharing his yield with neighbors and family. In addition to sharing his garden, George was happy to provide neighboring churches with his finds and was a reliable fixture in church basements throughout Salem.
