Kathleen Anne Kelley, 81, of Cape Elizabeth, ME, passed away Wednesday July 17, 2024, in the Cape Memory Care in Cape Elizabeth. She was born on July 19, 1942 in East Derry, NH, a daughter of Richard and Ida (Normandeau) Kelley.
Kathy grew up in Sandown, NH and graduated from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH, Class of 1960. She worked as an Office manager for Cole Layer Trumble Co and previously for the State of NH Vital Records department. Kathy enjoyed working in watercolors, playing piano, knitting, crocheting and sewing. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Kathy was a member of the York Congregational Church.
She is survived by her four children, Phillip G. Nichols, Pauline M. Hazen, Deborah Luopa, and Karen E. Lantz; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Theresa M. Rennie and Louise Kugler, and one brother David S. Kelley. She was predeceased by two brothers Edward Kelley and Norman Kelley.
A Calling hour will be held on Wednesday July 24, 2024 from 10 – 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A funeral service will begin at 11 am in the funeral home. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry, NH (located behind First Parish Congregational Church).
