CLERKIN, David of Norton, formerly of Dedham, passed away on July 7, 2024. Son of the late William J. Clerkin and Dorothy Lydon Clerkin. He is survived by his beloved son Sean Clerkin, his three siblings William J. Clerkin, Peter Clerkin and his wife Carrie, and his loving sister Kelly Clerkin.
David lived his life to the fullest and made every day count. He was larger than life, with an infectious personality and a smile that could light up any room. His vibrant spirit and joy for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Wednesday, July 17 from 4-8pm. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, July 18 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private. A celebration of life will be held immediately following at the Endicott Estate.
