Jean Sorrentino, of Medford, MA, formerly of the North End, Surrounded by her loving family, The Lord called Jean home to be with Him, on July 7, 2024, where she was greeted by her beloved husband of 65 years, the late Frederick S. Sorrentino Sr. Born in Boston, Ma, on January 7, 1932. Predeceased by her parents, the late Romeo and Phyllis (Amato) Leverone. Devoted mother to Jayne Sorrentino and her husband Charles Shaw of Salisbury, Frederick Sorrentino Jr. of Medford. Cherished grandmother to Richard Dalton and his wife Katie of Swampscott, Ryan Dalton and his Fiancé Taryn of Wakefield. Adored great grandmother to Luke, Giovanni, and Lucciana. Jean was predeceased by her brother Frederick and sister in law Helen Leverone, Jean is also survived by her dear sister-in-law Catherine Lawrence, and many nieces and nephews. Jean was happiest when surrounded by her family, “all her little darlings”, as she would call them. She was a homemaker who prided herself in raising her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She always loved her time with all her brothers & sisters in laws, nieces and nephews at family gatherings. Jean loved her Italian music, listening to Jerry Vale, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Perry Como, were amongst her favorites.

Jean’s funeral will be at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, on Tuesday, July 16th at 9 AM, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Jean’s family on Monday, July 15th, from 4 to 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Saint Michael Cemetery, Boston.
