David Michael Lipman, MD was born in Charleston, SC on September 7, 1942; he passed away July 4, 2024. He was 81.
David went to Tulane University for both undergraduate and medical school. He went on to practice dermatology for 45 in the Ventura area. He loved sports (especially UCLA football & the teams of Philadelphia, PA), trivia and going to the theatre but the cornerstone of his life was his family and being a dermatologist. He showed unconditional love for his late wife Anne and his daughter Sarah.
David was preceded in death by his wife Anne Lipman and his parents Bernard and Sylvia Lipman. David is survived by his daughter Sarah Lipman of Goleta; brother, Mark Lipman; sister, Shelley Lipman-Crew; his nephews, Jeff Lipman and Steve Lipman, and many friends.
He had a lot of love and admiration for his medical assistants that worked and supported him through his many years in Dermatology at the Beunaventura Medical Group, Dignity Health and Clinicas del Camino Real. He greatly appreciated their inclusion of him in various cultural celebrations and family events.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Friday evening, July 12, 2024 from 6 to 8pm in the BOYKO & REARDON TELEGRAPH ROAD MORTUARY & CREMATION, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning July 13, 2024 at 9:30am in the Chapel of the Mortuary follow immediately buy interment in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
