Dale M. (Archer) Litsey, age 78, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, with her loving family at her side on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Morton Hospital in Taunton.
Born in Newport, Rhode Island on November 27, 1945, she was a loving daughter of the late George and Lydia (Valentino) Archer.
Dale grew up in the Readville neighborhood of Boston, was educated in Saint Anne’s School in Readville and was a graduate of Rogers High School in Newport.
A retired Certified Nurse’s Assistant at the Wrentham State School, Dale lived in Mansfield for many years and had also resided in Northport, Florida where she was employed as a CNA, as well. Dale’s greatest joy and pleasure in the world was the love she had for her loving and adoring family.
She was the devoted mother of Derek Litsey and his wife Tara of Parrish, Florida, Scott Litsey and his wife Cheryl of Mansfield and the late Christopher Litsey, who is survived by his wife MaryBeth Litsey of Englewood, Florida. She was the dear sister of Michael Archer and his wife Caprice of Arizona and is also survived by her cherished 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A service in celebration of her life will be held at a later date and funeral home visiting hours are omitted.
