Mary R. (Spinale) Tringale, of Boston’s West End, formerly of Medford and Stoneham, passed away on Friday, June 21st. She was 99. Born and raised in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Francesco and Josephine (DiFranco) Spinale.

Mary had a long prosperous career at the Ruma Fruit Company for 45 years. She enjoyed working so much that she retired at the age of 92. When Mary was not working she loved to cook for her family. She was known for her old school home cooked meals, especially her sauce and meatballs. Mary loved to shop and was always looking for the next best deal. Later in her life, Mary looked forward to spending winters in Florida with George.

Mary was the beloved wife of 79 years to George Tringale. She was the devoted mother of Rose Marie Toon of Arizona, Janis Pisapia and her husband John of North Reading and Gail Traina and her husband Mark of Stoneham. She was the loving grandmother of six. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
