Noreen A. Pyne, of Peabody passed away on Wednesday June 19th. She was 85. Born and raised in Somerville, Noreen was the cherished daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Casey) Pyne. Noreen graduated from Michigan State University with her master’s degree in education. She spent the next 30 years employed as a reading specialist for the Department of Defense Dependents School for children of military parents in Germany and Okinawa, Japan.

Noreen was the dear sister of Margery P. Nichols of Barnstead, NH, and Edward Pyne of Rockport, MA. She was the loving aunt of Rebecca Pyne of Cambridge, MA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Noreen’s family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Saturday, June 29th from 10 to 11 AM, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
