Madeline T. (DelloRusso) Giaimo of Medford passed away on June 12, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 97 years old. Madeline was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Giaimo Sr. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late John and Edith (D'Ambrosio) DelloRusso. Madeline graduated in 1944 from Girls High School in Boston. She dedicated her life to her family and, in her later years, was employed by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue until retirement.

Madeline was not just a beloved wife, but also a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the guiding light in the lives of her children: Frank Giaimo Jr. and his late wife Theresa of South Dennis, Robert Giaimo and his wife Deborah of Medford, Paul Giaimo and his late wife Patricia along with his companion Joan Stearns of Stoneham, and Judith Taliaferro and her husband Frank of Medford. Her love extended to her grandchildren: Johanna Marshall and her husband Colin, Anthony Giaimo, Danielle Luzzo and her husband Rob, Michael Giaimo and his husband Alberto, Christopher Giaimo and his wife Jaclyn, Matthew Giaimo and his wife Bryanna, Ashley Dolan and her husband Chris, Alyssa Ibrahim and her husband Matthew, and Nicole Gonzalez and her husband Manny. And it didn't stop there, she was also a cherished great-grandmother to 11 loving great-grandchildren and counting, as well as her late granddog Bailey. Madeline was the sister of the late Walter DelloRusso and his late wife, Sarah, and the late John "Ozzie" DelloRusso Jr., as well as his surviving wife, Lena of West Roxbury.
