Gary P. Dion, 65 of Peabody, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 30, 2024, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Leda M. (Levesque) Dion.
Born in Beverly, he was the son of Helen (Kos) Dion of Peabody and the late George Dion. Gary grew up in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School. For most of his career he worked in sales for Britton’s Auto Parts of Beverly and Napa Auto Parts. He also worked for several years for Cornell Orthotics & Prosthetics at their Cummings Center location.
Gary enjoyed hiking in New Hampshire and in the North Shore area. He also enjoyed growing and raising flowers and vegetables. He was an avid Patriots fan.
In addition to his wife of Lynn and mother of Peabody, he is survived by his daughter, Nicole A. Dion of Reading, his brother, Stephen G. Dion of Dexter, NY, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his calling hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM with his service to follow in the funeral home at 1:00 PM.
