MALONE, Marguerite A. of West Roxbury, age 89, passed away peacefully May 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. Marguerite was born May 22, 1935, in Boston, to the late Philip and Edith (Michaud) Troy. Sister to Edith Bergstrom and her late husband Donald Bergstrom of Winchester, MA and the late Virginia Morrison of South Boston, Marguerite grew up in Neponset, MA. Marguerite was the beloved wife of the late William P. Malone (Ret. BPD), loving mother of Patricia A. Malone and her husband Jon Price of West Roxbury and William P. Malone and his wife Jeanne Malone of Walpole, devoted grandmother to Olivia and Jenna Malone of Walpole, and adoring aunt to many nieces and nephews. Marguerite worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines assigned to Cheyenne, Wyoming. Later, she became the Executive Assistant to the late Thomas M. Menino, Mayor of Boston. She was known for her beautiful singing voice and performed with the New Neponset Players and occasionally sang live on a Saturday morning Boston radio show. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 29th at 10:30 AM at Saint Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre St., West Roxbury.
