BEATON, Shirley (Goodwin) Age 88, on March 28th, 2013. Grew up in Arlington, raised her children in Lincoln, and retired to Sandwich. She worked as a secretary in the Lincoln Public Schools for 10 years and for the Department of Social Services for 12 years. Shirley was the daughter of the late Arthur & Josephine Goodwin of Arlington and Lexington. Wife of the late D. Richard Beaton of Lynn and Lincoln. Sister of Robert Goodwin and his wife Carol of Burlington and the late Arthur Goodwin. Loving mother of Daniel and his wife Mary of Williston, VT, Mark of Sandwich, and Thomas and his wife Gale of Charlestown. Grandmother of Granger, Paige, Alex, and Christopher Beaton.
Funeral service in the Wallace Chapel of the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, 207 Washington St. (Rte. 16), WELLESLEY HILLS, Monday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
