New Bedford – Juliet K. (Doberck) Tripp, 79, of Fairhaven died after a long illness September 25, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of Joseph G. Tripp, Jr.; they were married for 57 years.
Mrs. Tripp was born in Fairhaven, daughter of the late Carl V. and Annie (Dumas) Doberck, and lived in Fairhaven most of her life. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Fairhaven. She was employed for many years as a clerk by the former Browne’s Pharmacy, Fairhaven. She was a member of the American Legion Post 166 Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter: Janet K. Desrochers and her husband Richard of Acushnet; 2 sons: Joseph G. Tripp III and his wife Pamela of Fairhaven and James G. Tripp and his wife Kathy of Marion; a sister: Dorothy Beckman of Fairhaven; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. She was sister of the late Jeannette Doberck, Emily Fitts, Carl Doberck and Arthur Doberck.
