Bobby D. Shoemaker
November 29, 1959- April 16, 2024
Bobby D. (Shoe) Shoemaker 64, of Frankton, was called home on April 16, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Born to Caston and Joyce (Ford) Shoemaker on November 29, 1959 in Anderson where he resided for most of his life.
Bob was larger than life. A prideful, independent, and stubborn man. He wore many hats in his time. From factory work to contracting; he could do it all. He was always willing to help out a friend or family member. He loved billiards and running the local Saturday night pool tournaments. He enjoyed fishing, sports, going to Tennessee and spending time with friends and family. A chef in his own right, his favorite dish to make was Shrimp Alfredo (which sadly Justin will never get). Bob had a built in best friend with his brother David. You often never saw one without the other.
Surviving and carrying on his memory are: his wife, Kristina Shoemaker. Daughters, Brittney Shoemaker (Justin Cook) and Kaley Shoemaker (Brant Coen). Grandsons, Drew Shoemaker, Alex Shoemaker, and Hunter Cook. Granddaughter, Imiah Coble. Stepsons, Joshua (Tiffany) Harless and Dustin Harless (Veronica Stephany). Stepdaughters, Danielle (Shaun) Southerland and Megan (Shaun) Wells and 9 step grandchildren. Brother David (Dottie) Shoemaker; Sisters Kathy Collins and Lisa Thomas. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. His best Pals Roy Grissom and Tommy Rothel and his favorite cat "Sammy".
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Gina.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Rozelle- Johnson Funeral Service. A funeral service will begin at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
