LACONIA --- Allen M. Ouellette, “Ralph”, 74, of Laconia, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, in the arms of his family.
He was born on June 6, 1949, in Nashua, NH, the son of Norman H. Ouellette and Gloria C. Turcotte.
Ralph had a passion for animals, especially his chickens, his birds, dogs, and his cat Dogface. Ralph spent most of his time outdoors with his chickens, always caring for them and loving them as if they were his children. He also had a passion for astrology, and would spend days on end gathering information on the ones close to him, to create a final product for them.
Before retirement Ralph was a chief estimator for years at Meridian Construction in Gilford, NH. He had a love for creating plans and building things, and always excelled at his job. When Ralph wasn’t creating plans or building things, he was spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed flying kites at the ocean with his grandchildren, watching the birds and ocean through his binoculars, going out to breakfast on Saturdays with his best friend Lynn, taking rides around the lake and gardening with his wife Susan, lighting off fireworks on the 4th of July, and spending time with his granddaughters, and three children.
Ralphie was a big family guy. One of his proudest accomplishments was his three children and grandchildren. He would have done anything for his family, and always made sure they had everything they needed.
He will always be remembered as a caring, funny man who could crack a joke and make everybody in the room laugh. Ralph will be greatly missed by many people as each day goes by.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife Susan Mooney; two daughters, Ellen Moore and Andrea Faller and her husband Dan Faller; a son Eric Moore; and four granddaughters Felicity Faller, Delia Cormier, Amber Faller, and Jazmine Faller; and two sisters.
There will be no calling hours.
A celebration of life will be held with close family and friends, at a later date to be determined.
