Lois Milton, 98, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Tifton Health & Rehabilitation Center, in Tifton, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Friday, April 6, 2018, at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Father Paul O’Connell officiating. The family will receive friends from, 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM, at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Milton was born December 9, 1919, in Mershon, Georgia, to the late Joseph I. & Emma Gray Nolan. She lived in the community all of her life. Mrs. Milton was a very talented seamstress and made custom draperies until her late 70’s. She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Harley Milton & Vicki of Tifton; four grandchildren: Toni Milton, Chris Milton & Kyla, Dan Milton & Andrea and Christi Milton; ten great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Polly Milton of Brookfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles H. Milton; her second husband, David West; a son, Johnny C. Milton; four brothers and three sisters.
