Donald A. DePina, 66, of New Bedford died November 29, 2015 unexpectedly.
Born in Wareham, the son of the late John and Mary (Matthews) DePina, he was raised in Wareham and lived in New Bedford most of his life.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include 2 sons, Donald DePina, Jr. and Barry DePina, both of New Bedford; a daughter, Janine DePina of Attleboro; his former wives, Janet DePina and Antoinette Teixeira; 6 brothers and sisters, John DePina, Jr. of Freetown, Jeannette Oliveira of Bradenton, FL, Manuel DePina and his wife Beverly of Boston, Inez Delgado of Kingston, MA, Lorraine Gonsalves of Lilburn, GA and Dolores O'Neil and her husband Joe of Fairhaven; 6 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Jules DePina.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 7th at 9 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, December 6th from 2-6 PM.
