OXFORD-Ruth M. (Norrman) Pajala, 76, passed away at home Tuesday, July 26th. Ruth’s husband of 51 years, Arnie “Howie” Pajala passed away in April 2015. She leaves her three children, Howard A. and his wife Virginia Pajala of Oxford, Eric S. Pajala of Oxford and Lilly V. Mullen and her husband Daniel of Auburn; six grandchildren, Kristopher, Heaven, Alec and Nathan Pajala, Matthew and Benjamin Mullen; her great granddaughter, Madeline Pajala; her sister, Emma Boivin of Whitinsville and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.
Ruth was born in Worcester a daughter of Sixten W. And Lilly V. (Sundberg) Norrman and graduated from Commerce High School. Ruth was an active member with her husband of the former Quinsigamond Corp. Salvation Army and enjoyed crocheting. Ruth loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, and she also enjoyed visiting with her siblings and vacationing at Salisbury Beach.
The family would like to thank the staff at Summit Elder Care for their assistance with Ruth’s care.
A visiting hour will be held on Thursday, August 4th from 12 until 1:00pm with a funeral service to be held at 1:00pm at LINDQUIST LUNDIN Funeral Home, 36 Butler St., Worcester. Burial will be private.
