Obituary

Anthony "Tony B" Bucciaglia of Worcester went home to be with the Lord July 17, 2016 at the age of 84. He was born in Worcester, son of Lena (Engel) and Samuel Bucciaglia. Tony was educated in the Worcester schools and was a lifelong resident of the city. He was self-employed as a roofer and painter in Worcester for many years. Tony is survived by his daughters Wendy McHugh of New Hampshire, Brenda Davin and Sandra Healy both of Worcester; and his sons Mark Devine and Michael Devine both of Worcester. Tony is also survived by his sisters Pauline LaRochelle of Worcester and Josephine Dauderis of Rochester, N.Y. as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Tony is predeceased by his sisters Mary Lou Cross, Helena “Connie” Hubbard and his brother Samuel J. Bucciaglia.

Tony was an avid Red Sox fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching the games: in addition playing cards with his family always created a memorable time as they all had a laugh or two.

In the last month of his life Tony was beautifully cared for with compassion by his sister Josephine and the entire 3rd floor staff and Administrative Personnel at the Lutheran Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center to whom we say many thanks.

A Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, July 23, at the Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. All are warmly invited to meet members of his family between the hours of 10:30am - 12:30pm followed by a Christian Celebration of Life at 12:30pm. Cremation will take place and privately placed Monday in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.

Flowers are welcome or if preferred donations can be made to the charity of choice.
