Obituary

LEICESTER; Joyce M. Cooper, 74, of 15 Young St., Cherry Valley, a section of Leicester, died Sunday, July 17, at Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester with her family beside her.
She leaves her husband of 56 years, Henry R. Cooper, two daughters; Doris A. LaCasse and her husband Scott of Spencer, Kathleen Malloy and her husband Christopher of Cherry Valley, a brother, Joseph LaJeunesse and his wife Florence of So. Dennis, four sisters; Doris LaJeunesse of Dennis, Audrey Fitch and her husband Paul of West Brookfield, Eleanor Sundeen of PA, Nancy Mattress and her husband William of FL., 3 grandchildren; Melissa Howarth, Amanda Tetreault, Brandon Malloy, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Jean M. Ramm and a brother Herbert LaJeunesse.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Joseph A. & Doris E. (Dunn) LaJeunesse.
Mrs. Cooper was a graduate of the former Commerce High School in Worcester. She was a computer operator at T.J. Maxx for 25 years, retiring in 2010.
She was a member of the Leicester Star Rises Drum & Bugle Corps and served as a treasurer and chaperon.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 21 at 11 A.M. in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-7 PM in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester.
Donations may be made in Joyce's name to the Charity of ones choice.
