NO.OXFORD: Patrick W. Calkins 30, of Leicester St., died suddenly at his home on Saturday, July 9.
He leaves his daughter Ava Calkins of Warren, his father Michael F. Calkins, Sr. and his wife Maria of Oxford, his mother Rochelle Chaisson of No.Uxbridge, six brothers, his twin brother Sean Calkins of So.Hadley, Michael Calkins, Jr. and his wife Renee of Wake Forest, N.C., Kevin Calkins and his wife Elizabeth of Poway,Calif., Brian Smith, Jr. of Holden, Gregory Calkins of Newton, N.J., and Andrew Calkins and his wife Angelina of Gouldsboro, Pa., three sisters Kimbly Massotti and her husband Gregory of Douglas, Meaghan Calkins of Worcester, and Michelle Schultzki and her husband Kyle of Chicoppee, several nieces and nephews.
Pat was a longtime truck driver for Atlas Box in Sutton, and most recently Polito Construction Co. in Shrewsbury. Born in Southbridge he attended Tantasqua Regional High School. He was an avid golfer playing in several area leagues and tournaments.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 13 at 10 a.m. in the Charlton City United Methodist Church, 74 Stafford St., Charlton. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours at the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester are Tuesday, July 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
