Obituary

DUDLEY- Mary A. “Marion” (Betley) Jaskolski, 86, died Friday, July 8, 2016 in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Worcester, surrounded by her family. Her husband of 49 years, Joseph E. Jaskolski, died in 2004.

She leaves 5 nephews, Michael J. and his wife Tina Betley, Stephen F. & his wife Tina Betley, Edward A. & his wife Kristina Jaskolski, Lionel Lavallee and Laurence Lavallee; 5 nieces, Paula Jean & her husband Theodore Lamoureux, Christine and her husband Samuel Cobain, Caroline and her husband Henry Crawford, Charlene and her husband Daniel Kimball, and Cathleen Haggerty; a brother-in-law, Antoni Jaskolski of Dudley; a sister-in-law, Bernice Lavallee of Woodstock; many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She was born and raised in Webster, the daughter of Michael & Nellie (Wojcik) Betley.

Mrs. Jaskolski worked as a machine operator, making covered key cases for American Optical Company in Southbridge for 36 years, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church and a member of Saint Joseph Basilica’s Sacred Heart and Saint Anne Societies. She enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining and having fun. Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her friends and family.

The funeral will be held Thursday, July 14, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street,Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 13, in the funeral home.
