WEBSTER – Patricia A.(Chlapowski) Johnson, 62, died Tuesday, June 22, 2016 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge .
She leaves a son, John W. Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter, Cheri L. Johnson of Milford; a brother, John M. & his wife Jean Chlapowski of Dudley; a sister Eleanor & her husband David Damian of Denton, TX; her companion, David A. Frenier with whom she lived for many years; many nieces & nephews, including her godchild and caregiver, Lisa C. Chlapowski. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Theodore Chlapowski, Anthony Chlapowski and Leon Chlapowski and by her sister, Pauline Paglione.
She was born and raised in Webster, a daughter of Chester M. and Agnes S. (Delman) Chlapowski. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School and received her Associates Degree in Business from Quinsigamond Community College.
Ms. Chlapowski worked briefly as an insurance agent, retiring in 1990 due to illness.
She was a member of Saint Joseph’s Basilica. She enjoyed scratch tickets, slot machines and casinos. She loved watching cardinals in her yard.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 25, at 11:30 A.M. in Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Saturday, June 25, from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. in the funeral home.
