EAST BROOKFIELD: Bruce A. Hingston, 73, of Podunk Road died Thursday, May 19 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Marion (Wakeen) Hingston of 52 years, two sons; Peter J. Hingston and his wife Jill of Pasco, Washington and Paul A. Hingston and his wife Laura of East Brookfield, 5 grandchildren; Allison, Reagan, Thomas, Sam & Sophie Hingston and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister Anne Druyor.
Mr. Hingston was born in Worcester, son of John and Sybil (Perry) Hingston. He was a self employed contractor for many years before retiring. He enjoyed classic cars and trucks. He loved his East Brookfield community and enjoyed staying current on all of the towns happenings.
A Graveside service in Evergreen Cemetery, East Brookfield will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to East Brookfield Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 356, East Brookfield, MA 01515. J.
