RINDGE, NH - Kathleen M. (Jarosz) Siekierski, 61, died peacefully Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at home surrounded by her family and friends after a brave battle with cancer.
She leaves her husband of 41 years, Raymond C. Siekierski, Jr.; her parents, Edward J. and Frances (Makowski) Jarosz of Dudley; 2 sisters, Patricia A. Bachand and her husband Thomas of Woodstock, CT and Sharon Donovan of Fall River, MA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Edward J. Jarosz in 1984.
She was born in Webster and raised in Dudley. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1972 and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Worcester State College in 1976. Later, she was awarded a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College. She had lived in Rindge since 2000.
Kate was a very creative person: she had a passion for art and the outdoors. She enjoyed traveling and new adventures as well as spending time with her family and friends. She adored her 3 cats which gave her an immense amount of pleasure: Bridgie, Monroe and Zena.
There are no calling hours. A celebration of Kate’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to P.A.W.S., P.O. Box 191, Eastford, CT 06242-0191.
