WORCESTER – Alice T. (Vienneau) Donnelly, 88, died Monday, February 15, 2016, at Holy Trinity Nursing Home in Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband, John S. Donnelly who died in 2008. She is survived by her brother, Gerald Vienneau and his wife Edna of Worcester; her sister, Jeanne DeCourcey of New York; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Adelard and Marie Rosalie (Saulnier) Vienneau. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1945.
Mrs. Donnelly worked in the accounting department at Wright Line in Worcester for 40 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. George’s Church in Worcester and St. George’s Women’s Club. She was a member of the Greendale Retired Women’s Club, the 3F’s Club at the Greendale People’s Church, and the Y.M.C.A. in Greendale. Mrs. Donnelly was a member of the national A.A.R.P. as well as the Bancroft Chapter 2599 and the Colonial Chapter 4831. She was a member of the National Council of Senior Citizens and the Chaffin’s Women’s Club. Mr. and Mrs. Donnelly loved traveling, square dancing, skiing, and golfing. She had a passion for photography.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at St. George’s Church, 40 Brattle St., Worcester. Entombment will follow at Notre Dame Mausoleum in Worcester.
