Ralph W. Bullington, Jr., 30, of Abbeville, died Friday, March 14, 2014 in Wilcox County.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Thursday, March 20, 2014, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Pastor Larry Davis and Minister Henry Young officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Wilcox County. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ralph was born November 4, 1983, in Houston County, Georgia, to Ralph W. Bullington, Sr. and Kathy Brown Bullington. He was a 2002 graduate of Wilcox County High School in Rochelle where he was in the FFA and played football. He wore #63 and was the Offensive Player of the Year for the Region his senior year. He enjoyed showing hogs and cows in high school and was a farmer. Ralph was a hard-worker and enjoyed spending time with his son.
He is survived by his wife: Shelley Griner Bullington of Abbeville; son: Rowdy Bullington of Pitts; step-children: D.J. White & Brittany Hampton, both of Abbeville; father: Ralph & Paula Bullington of Fitzgerald; mother: Kathy Bullington of Warner Robins; sister: Miranda Bullington of Atlantic Beach, Florida; step-brother: Gary Chambless of Slidell, Louisiana; and his grandmother: Vera Bullington of Fitzgerald.
