Dolores M. (Costa) Raposa, age 72, of Fall River, passed away Nov. 20, 2010, after a long illness in a Stoughton facility. Life long companion of John Gomes and the daughter of the late John P. & Sarah (Furtado) Costa. She was a full time mother and homemaker.
She leaves behind children: Susan Raposa; Brian Raposa & wife Susan of Fall River; Joyce Raposa & partner Ken Lynch of Swansea; and the late James Raposa. Siblings: Lorraine Duarte of Fall River James Costa of Tiverton, RI; Robert Costa of Portsmouth, RI; Ronald Costa of Sebastopol, CA; and the late John Costa Jr. Grandchildren: Shannon Charron; Courtney Raposa; Mitchell Lynch; Brittany Raposa; and the late Troy Raposa. Four great grandchildren.
Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. MAIN ST. FALL RIVER on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 11:00 A.M. Private interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
