Theresa “Terry” (Correia) Barboza, age 72, a resident of Kimwell Nursing Care Center, & formerly of Somerset, passed away July 16, 2010. Wife of Robert P. Barboza, & the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pimentel) Correia. Prior to retiring, Terry worked at the Boys and Girls Club as a child care worker. Previously, she was a cafeteria worker at BMC Durfee High School. She was a member of St. Michael Church.
Besides her husband of Somerset, she is survived by 3 children: Robert Barboza of Roxbury, MA, Cheryl Ann Barboza of Somerset, MA, and Patricia Marie Lovett of Portsmouth, RI. 6 Siblings: Edmund, and Joseph Correia Jr. all of Fall River, and Antone Correia of Punta Gorda, FL, Matilda “Tillie” Souza, Madeline Coutroubis, and Irene Orlando all of Fall River. 3 Grandchildren: Joshua, Madisyn, & Brady, and many nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Arthur, Alban and Louis Correia, Mary Souza, and Inez A. Correia.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 No. Main St. on TUESDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours MONDAY 4-8 P.M.
