To Joani, Bill and I enjoyed visiting your mother at Marian Manor. She was always so joyful and loved and cared for everyone there. Thank you, Rose for being so kind to my cousin Mary Harris. Mary and I so appreciated your kind words and your laughter. Our sincere condolences to Joani & David on the loss of Rose. Love, Joanne & Bill

Dear Joanie, I am very sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I was a very young girl the last time I saw your Mother, when you and your parents lived across the street from us in Roslindale, back in the early 1950s. Your Mother used to design the little skirts you wore for your Irish step dancing performances and my Mother would sew them up. Your Mother and Father were wonderful neighbors, with such a tremendous sense of humor. I can recall your Father showing up at our door one Halloween night dressed as a flapper; he and your Mother had done such a great job on his costume that we did not even recognize him at first. I am sure that you have many, many fond memories to look back upon. My condolences to both you and David. Alberta Mason & Family

Joan, I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was an extraordinary person. The words, "she was a good true friend to all....," describe Rose perfectly. Our family was blessed to know her. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Mary Ellen Sinkiewicz
