What a huge loss for your firm and all the lovely people who had the pleasure to be her colleagues these many years. My father had great confidence in her expertise. Her warm personality and sense of humor inspired him to make a personal pilgrimage to the office for the last 30+ years. She has been a great help to us since he passed away last year. Our family offers condolences to her family and to all at the firm. Sincerely, Susan Wexler (daughter of Bob Wexler)

To Agnes' family and co-workers: I've known Agnes for many years and she was always caring, concerned and generous with her time. However, no matter how busy Agnes was she also wanted to share a comment or relay a remark about her family. Through these little moments and pleasantries I had a glimpse into the personal side of Agnes which was not surprisingly the source of her professional accomplishments. Agnes was a wonderful person and a good friend to so many others....we will all miss her. Chris Nesbitt

To Agnes's family, collegues and freinds: On behalf of the MA Board of Public Accountnacy and all its former members who are no longer with us, I want to express our sincere condolences for your loss. I served as Executive Secretary of the Board for the ten years that Agnes served as a member and distinguished herself in her committment to public service. Agnes was the first female member since the Board began licensing CPAs in 1963 and made a name for herself with her hard work and intelligence. Known for her compassion for the consumer, she inmparted justice with a flair for the dramatic that made more than one CPA in violation of our rules cringe to tears. Every member of the Board and the profession that came before the Board knew her to be fair in her decisions and lethal in her criticism when warranted. I admired her and respected her more than many of our other mebers and she remained a good friend throughout the many years afetr service. I hope you will bear up under the enormous loss to us all.

To the Family, Friends and Colleagues of Agnes: Know that the thoughts and prayers of many are with you. May you be consoled in your time of mourning by the memories of a truly wonderful woman. Although we have lost a great leader and contributor to our profession and our community, we have gained so much for having known her, worked with her, and learned from her.

Agnes was a wonderful, warm woman. We first met many years ago while on the Board of the YWCA, where I had the privledge of serving on the finance committee under her stewardship. We remained good friends since then. Although I didn't know her family personally, she always spoke of them with great pride and deep affection. I send my condolences to her family and her co-workers, knowing how much they will miss her leadership and friendship.

Jim and I were saddened to learn of your beloved mother's untimely death. We have known Agnes for many years. First, with my family as she was the family accountant. I worked for Roberta Schaefer at The Research Bureau and your mother was the Treasurer of the organization as she was for so many other non-profits. Her expertise and dedication will be greatly missed by so many. May all your wonderful memories sustain you at this sad time and may her memory be eternal. Sincerely, Joan and Jim Christo

I know Agnes best as Ross's grandmother. She adored him. I always loved to see Ross walking into a room and watching her light up with warm smile! She instilled a very strong sense of family. On Friday nights, she almost always had dinner with him, and truly enjoyed taking him on vacations. At Christmas time, she would take him to holiday shows and she would be so proud to bring him to her office Christmas party. Every year, she would attend Ross's birthday parties and made sure everyone had a great time. I admired her spirit and dedication to her family. Ross will hold wonderful memories.

I graduated from Commerce High with your Mom in 1955. I was class valedictorian but knew your mother was a close runner-up. I remember well her determination, dedication to learn and to speak our language so well. I have followed her achievements and cheered her on. Years later my son interned for her firm and learned much from her. My condolences to your family. I am certain she will be missed and left before her time. Please say hello to Helen Koskinas. I read her name in the obituary and your mother knew how to pick her friends. Helen is a wonderful woman. Sympathy, Shirley (Masiello) Barlar, Commerce High School, Class of 1955B.
