Harvey Baizen, 86, a longtime resident of Marblehead, entered into rest on April 11, 2008 at the Jewish Rehabilitation Center in Swampscott. He was the beloved husband of Esther (Slotnick) Baizen of Marblehead.
Born in Malden, Mr. Baizen was raised & educated in Malden where he graduated from Malden High School. He was self-employed as a finish carpenter. Mr. Baizen was a longtime member of Temple Israel in Swampscott.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Baizen is survived by his children, Diane Benedetti & her husband Ralph of Hamilton & Larry Baizen & his wife Lois of Beverly; his grandchildren, Risa Bierman, Brian Farber, Tracy Mariani, & Rachel Baizen; & his great-grandchildren, Joshua & David Bierman & Alaina Farber. He was the brother of the late Kenneth Baizen.
Funeral services will be held in the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq) CHELSEA on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Everett. Memorial observance will be private. Donations in Mr. Baizen’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s own choosing.
