To Bernie's family, I am saddened to hear about Bernie passing and will always remember him as a very good and caring man. I had the pleasure of volunteering on the cable board with him and always admire the way that he treated people and his caring about our community. We will miss his great big smile and warm personalty.

I always enjoyed Bernie's smile with the twinkle in his eye, when he cracked that smile. He had a passion for the community center and all the people it served. When I think of Bernie, a cheerful giver of his time and energy, with a " can-do" attitude, comes to mind. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this sad time.

Bernie Resnick - What a Guy! I knew Bernie from Nelson & Small and we were members together in the Grenier Industrial Airpark Association. He was a fantastic Gentleman, with a great sense of humor. I always considered him a dear friend and someone you could call on for advice. His generous nature and willingness to help others will never be forgotten. It has been years since my last contact but he is someone I will never forget. He had a way of looking at things simply, directly to the point and offering solutions with a smile. A great guy. Dear Esnick Family, I am so sorry to have read of your loss please accept my sincere condolences. Something that may bring your family comfort is what the Bible says at John 5:28,29 where we see that God is going to bring about a resurrection. Also at Revelation 21:4 We see that God is going to do away with all causes we have for suffering so that we can live in peace. It is my sincere gope that these thoughts bring your family comfort in your time of grief. Rebekah J.

I was so sorry to read of Bernie's passing. He was the director of the Miss Maine Pageant the year that I won. He was a wonderful mentor and helped me so much during my year. I'm sure that all of my Miss Maine sisters who had the honor of working with Bernie feel as I do. Bernie was such a kind man with a wonderful sense of humor. My condolences to Barbara, his daughters and grandchildren. Ellen Warren Gerard Miss Maine 1964

My deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Bernie Resnick. Bernie and I grew up on Munjoy Hill, graduated from Portland High in the same class, and were friends through these many years. Bernie was a kind, gentle man who showed compassion and understanding for all people. His smile, his sense of humor, and his ability to converse on many subjects was a wonderful gift. He was an humanitarian who will be missed. Kindest regards to the family. Anne (Leach) Nation

Barbara and family: So very sorry to hear about Bernie's passing. I always enjoyed him and his great sense of humor in my days in Derry, and especially as a member of the Derry Village Rotary Club that he so loved. He was a true example of a great volunteer and friend. He was missed at this years DVR Club tournament, among so many other things. Wish I could have made it to the service this afternoon. Sure that you have great memories of a very dear man.
