Shocked and profoundly saddened to hear of Tom's untimely passing. It has been my pleasure to have known Tom and his family since we were infants in South Carolina. Our families shared Christmas together for over 30 years, first as children and then before we knew it, with our children. Our prayers go to Gail, his children, parents, brothers and sisters as well as all who knew and loved him.

It was always a delight to see the smiling Tom, the gregarious Gail, and the children at the Palapoli Family gatherings. Without doubt, family was always extremely important to Tom. We remember with deep gratitude how Tom frequently went out of his way to visit Grandma Helen O'Reilly in her waning months. Always a gentleman, Tom will be always be remembered as a gentle man. Of his passing at age 51, we can only think it was too soon, that he had much more to give in an already productive life. We pray that he will speedily be welcomed in the heaven above that each of us strives will be our own final resting place. R.I.P.

In my mind, of course, he'd remained the oldest Kennedy kid who was younger than me, but it is apparent that he'd grown into a wonderful man.
