Obituary

Helen Mary (Kaminski) Chmieleski, age 86, of Salem, NH, died Tuesday at Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem, NH.

She was born and educated in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Fal) Kaminski and graduated from Lawrence High School. She was a resident of Salem for over 60 years.

Helen was a retired Tax Adjuster for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, MA, where she worked for 27 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the Salem VFW Post 8546 Ladies Auxiliary and the Salem Senior Center. She was also a member of the Golden Agers, the Sound –A- Bouts Fan Club, the Salem Visiting Nurses Association and the Happy Travelers of Dracut, MA. Helen also became a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 63 in Salem, NH.

The family of Helen would like to thank everyone at Salemhaven for the care, kindness, friendship, and compassion they showed to Helen.

She was predeceased by her husband, Woodrow Chmieleski and her 3 brothers John, Edward and Paul Kaminski.

She is survived by her daughter:
Mary Susan & her husband Ralph Medina of Manchester, NH

Several Nieces & Nephews

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 11th at 10 AM at St’s Mary & Joseph Parish @ St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.

Calling hours will be Thursday, Feb. 10th from 4-7 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
