When i saw Slats obituary i called my husband right away (Rich Tibbetts). He was shocked to say the least. Slats was a huge part of my husbands life. Richies dad ( Fred Zirpolo) were the best of friends. Monarch sign was Fred and Slats. The three boys carry the Monarch name, Monarch Motor sports (freddie), Monarch Plumbing and Heating (Steven), Monarch Electric (Richie). They are proud men to carry the name on. Seeing you last week brought back so many memories of all the good times we had years ago almost like it was yesterday. So sorry for the suffering your father endured and for how you and your family suffer through his passing. Keep remembering all the strength he taught you, the encouragement he gave, the love he shared, his big smiles, the great laughter and the quiet moments too. Although it may seem hard to imagine right now, it will be these wonderful memories of the little things in life that will help to 'push away the pain' and to bring back your smile again one day. Hold dear your love for your Dad and family and it will carry you through.
