She later became a resident of Wellesley and remained active in the town, the larger community, and her church, St. John the Evangelist, where she served as an extraordinary minster of the Eucharist for many years. Involved in many charity and aid organizations, she was particularly committed to The Children’s Hospital League of Boston, where she remains an Honorary Board member, and the Wellesley Friendly Aid Association, for which she delivered countless Meals on Wheels.
