My father, a strong family man, treated his children to vacations from the New Jersey shore to camping in Oklahoma. I feel particularly happy that all in the family were able to visit him and be with him near the end of his life. Special thanks are due to the Knollwood facility for his final peaceful days. With the exception of trying to convert him into a Red Sox fan, all ended well. Thank you to all his caretakers and most love to the entire family. Love, Nancy

I did not know Mr. Parrott but do know he must have been a special man to raise such a wonderful daughter, my maid of honor Alice. I am sure his sense of humor was passed down to her and our thoughts and prayers are with all his children, grandchildren and family and friends.

Creation to Legacy Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,who has blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in christ,just as he chose us in Him before the foundation of the world , that we should be holy and blameless before Him in love. He predestineed us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself according to kindintention of His will, to the prise of glory of His grace,which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. When we think about the marvel of creation-how God spoke the universe into existence and formed the earth and everything in it-we think most often of the Old Testament accounts. But it is encourageing to examine the New Testement to see how that part of the bible refers to creation. Here is a look at some passages. "I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world." (Matt. 13:35). God reveals things to us that He had kept secret since before creation. "Come you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world!" (Matt. 25:34). Before the earth was created. God knew each of us-and he knew our future. "He chose us in Him before the work of creation even began. God was aware of each of His eventual children. These New Testament verse comfort us with the truth that God's Knowledge of us and His eternal mysteries about us point toward His special creation of mankind as described in Genessis. We can do nothing but bow in awe before One whose knowledge and creative ability are eteral in nature and boundless in power.
