Hazel Miller, 67, of Ocilla, Georgia died Friday, September 17, 2010, at the Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Jerry Tindall officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Broxton, Georgia. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Miller was born February 11, 1943 in Ben Hill County to the late Henry D. and Janie Mae Whitley Miller. She has lived in the Ocilla community most of her life. Ms. Miller was a former employee of the Ocilla Pharmacy, Walker’s 5&10 and for 20 years, the Ben Hill-Irwin Shopper. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Ms. Miller is survived by her brother and sister-in-law: John Henry & Jeanette Miller of Garden City, Michigan; sisters and brothers-in-law: Margie & Henry Smith and Martha Harper of Ocilla, Pearlie Mae & Cliff Gaither and Edna Smith of Mystic, GA, Louise Tindall of Oxford, Michigan, Alice Tindall of Aiken, South Carolina and Mandy & Willard Cliett of Summerfield, Florida. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister.
